Baseball Recap: Kennedy Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Kennedy made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Bethel, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Eagles put the hurt on the Jaguars with a sharp 8-2 victory on Wednesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Logan Espinoza was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-5. He is becoming a predictor of Kennedy's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 2-7 when he doesn't).

Kennedy's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 5-7. As for Bethel, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Jaguars beat Kennedy by a score of 15-5 on Friday.
