Basketball Recap: Williamsburg Takes a Loss

Williamsburg managed to keep up with Bluegrass United until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Williamsburg Yellow Jackets lost 68-47 to the Bluegrass United Bluehawks. The Yellow Jackets' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

Bluegrass United's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kendall Duerson, who posted 15 points. Marty Gordon was another key player, putting up ten points and seven boards.

Williamsburg's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Bluegrass United, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 9-16 record this season.
