Glastonbury entered their tilt with East Catholic on Wednesday with nine consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with ten. They put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp  3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Guardians also won the last time the pair played  back in October of 2021.
 Glastonbury's got stronger as the match went on, holding East Catholic to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-17,  25-14.
 Glastonbury's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Abby Kantor led the charge by  getting five  digs and four  aces.
Glastonbury's win bumped their record up to 20-2-2. As for East Catholic,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 4-6.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Glastonbury is set to  face off against  their familiar foe Edwin O. Smith  at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. Meanwhile, East Catholic will  square off against  rival South Windsor  at 5:45  p.m.  on Friday.
