Basketball Recap: Hamilton Finds Home Court Redemption Against Spring Lake

There's no place like home for Hamilton, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against the Spring Lake Lakers by a score of 37-27 on Monday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Hawkeyes' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 296th, while the Lakers are ranked 101st).

Hamilton's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-9. As for Spring Lake, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Zeeland East the next time they take the court. Hamilton will head out to face Zeeland East at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Spring Lake will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
