Basketball Recap: South Lenoir Takes a Loss

South Lenoir lost against Wallace-Rose Hill on January 7th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The South Lenoir Blue Devils took a 63-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Blue Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 424th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 149th).

South Lenoir has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season. As for Wallace-Rose Hill, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-3.

South Lenoir has already played their next matchup (against Dixon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Wallace-Rose Hill has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against North Lenoir.
