Baseball Preview: Monticello Buckaroo vs. Duchesne Eagles

Monticello is 2-8 against Duchesne since May of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Buckaroo will square off against the Eagles at 2:00 p.m. Monticello is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.3 runs per game this season.

Jackson Keyes made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 11 batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off seven hits. Those 11 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was even better at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.
