Volleyball Recap: Hahnville Comes Up Short

Hahnville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lafayette Christian Academy Knights. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

Lafayette Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Kaitlyn HicKs, who had three digs and two aces.

Hahnville now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Lafayette Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season.

While Hahnville had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
