Baseball Recap: Scott County's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

Scott County came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 10-3 to the Collins Titans. The Cardinals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Titans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Scott County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Will Rose, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. Colt Fields also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Scott County fell to 3-1. As for Collins, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Scott County will take on Montgomery County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Collins, they will face off against Southern at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
