Baseball Recap: East Burke Extends Winning Streak to Three

East Burke extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 13-7 in the process. They put the hurt on the Freedom Patriots with a sharp 14-4 win. 14 seems to be a good number for the Cavaliers as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

As for Freedom, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season. As for they, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-13.

For Freedom's part, KYLE SELF made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run. The team also got some help courtesy of JONAH GRIGGS, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

East Burke has already played their next contest, a 4-3 win against Ashe County on the 23rd. As for Freedom, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 10-0 loss against Patton on the 22nd.
