Basketball Recap: Field Now 8-1 over Last Nine Games

Field had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They skirted past the Northwest Indians 47-44. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Falcons have posted since December 6, 2024.

It was another big night for Delilah Rahe, who went 7-for-13 en route to 14 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Thanks to that strong game, she now owns an excellent 45.2% field goal percentage. Another player making a difference was Mckayla Miller, who posted six points and five assists.

Field has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.8 points over those games. As for Northwest, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-3.

Coming up, Field will square off against Streetsboro at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Streetsboro will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Field surely won't give up without a fight. Northwest does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
