Basketball Recap: Carlisle Takes a Loss

Carlisle lost against Alto back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Carlisle Indians took a blow against the Alto Yellowjackets, falling 80-20. The matchup marked the Indians' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Jamarion Rollins continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Alto, going 13 for 19 on his way to 29 points in addition to seven boards and five assists. With that strong performance, Rollins is now averaging an impressive 15.8 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Derek Jordan, who went 6 of 14 on his way to 15 points and four steals.

Carlisle dropped their record down to 3-19 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Alto, their victory bumped their record up to 14-7.

Carlisle didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 47-39 defeat against Mt. Enterprise on the 11th. As for Alto, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, an 80-31 win against New Summerfield on the 10th.
