Football Recap: Dayton Dust Devils vs. Yerington Lions
Dayton had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They really took it to the Yerington Lions for the full four quarters, racking up a 48-6 win on the road. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Dust Devils had established a 36 point advantage.
Dayton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Duke Evans led the charge by rushing for 144 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries.
