Volleyball Recap: Lamar Comes Up Short

Lamar lost against Prosper back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Vikings took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brooke Smith paced Lamar's offense, picking up four kills. Smith got some help from Corinne Timmons and her four assists.

Lamar's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Prosper, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Lamar wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Highland Park on the 21st. As for Prosper, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Eagle Mountain on the 21st.
