Baseball Game Preview: St. Paul's Episcopal Saints vs. Citronelle Wildcats

For the second straight game, St. Paul's Episcopal will face off against Citronelle. St. Paul's Episcopal will host Citronelle at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Paul's Episcopal's pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so Citronelle's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

On Wednesday, St. Paul's Episcopal got the win against Citronelle by a conclusive 10-3. The Saints haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

St. Paul's Episcopal got a massive performance out of Taylor O'Dell, who scored two runs while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits O'Dell has posted since back in April of 2024. Tate Johnston was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances.

St. Paul's Episcopal was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .424. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Citronelle only posted a batting average of .160.

Citronelle is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-14. As for St. Paul's Episcopal, their win bumped their record up to 10-7.
