Basketball Recap: Elcho Takes a Loss

Elcho was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Marion/Tigerton Mustangs, falling 48-17.

Hannah Schmidt was Elcho's leading scorer, having posted ten points.

Elcho's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Marion/Tigerton, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Elcho will be playing at home against Crandon at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Cardinals have been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Marion/Tigerton, they are taking a road trip to challenge White Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
