Alleghany is 8-2 against Radford since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Cougars will challenge the Bobcats at 5:00 p.m. The game will give Alleghany their first taste of in-conference action this season.

Last Saturday, Alleghany came up short against Brookville and fell 13-10. The defeat continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Bees: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Radford's offense. They lost 15-0 to Patrick County on Wednesday. The Bobcats just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Radford's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Alleghany, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Alleghany skirted past Radford 8-7 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
