Football Recap: Walnut Springs Falls to Ranger in First Game of Season

Walnut Springs unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Ranger Bulldogs by a score of 2-0 on Thursday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Walnut Springs will face off against Priddy at 7:30 p.m. on September 5. As for Ranger, they will venture away from home to face off against Woodson at 7:30 p.m. on September 5.
