Softball Recap: Naaman Forest Comes Up Short

Naaman Forest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Wylie East Raiders, falling 15-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-0 back in March.

Naaman Forest's defeat dropped their record down to 6-18. As for Wylie East, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a massive bump to their 18-8-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Naaman Forest will challenge rival North Garland at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Wylie East is set to face off against their familiar foe Rowlett at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
