Baseball Recap: Martin Takes a Loss

Martin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 8-3 to the Mission Eagles, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-3 on Tuesday.

Martin saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Edgar Garcia, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Martin's loss dropped their record down to 7-5-1. As for Mission, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Martin will host Cigarroa at 6:00 p.m. on March 18th. As for Mission, they will take on Mission Veterans Memorial at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
