Recap: Antwerp Archers vs. Crestview Knights
After a string of four wins, the Antwerp Archers's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They were the victim of a tough 45-19 defeat at the hands of Crestview. Antwerp has not had much luck with Crestview recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Crestview's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cali Gregory, who scored 18 points along with four steals. The game was Gregory's 12th in a row with at least ten points. Ellie Kline was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with six steals.
Antwerp's loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-4. As for Crestview, their win was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-1.
Antwerp will play host again and welcome Edgerton, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Crestview, they will head out on the road to face off against Bluffton at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Bluffton will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 421st, while Crestview is ranked 28th).
