Basketball Recap: Chief Ivan Blunka Comes Up Short

Chief Ivan Blunka was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 67-50 bruising from the Bristol Bay Angels. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Angels earlier this season, when they won 58-56.

Bristol Bay got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kadin Torino out in front who posted 19 points. The dominant performance gave Torino a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Julian Trefon, who put up 18 points.

Chief Ivan Blunka's defeat dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Bristol Bay, their victory bumped their record up to 10-14.

As of now, neither Chief Ivan Blunka nor Bristol Bay have any future games scheduled.
