Caruthers won the last time they faced McFarland and things went their way on Saturday too. The Blue Raiders walked away with a 2-0 win over the Cougars.

Caruthers' victory bumped their record up to 11-6. As for McFarland, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16.

Looking ahead, McFarland will challenge Wasco at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. The contest will give the Cougars their first taste of in-conference action this season. Caruthers will be paying especially close attention to McFarland's game: after McFarland faces off against Mission College Prep, they'll take on Caruthers again at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
