Soccer Recap: Queen Creek Takes a Loss

The matchup between Queen Creek and Desert Ridge on Friday hardly resembled the 2-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Queen Creek Bulldogs came up short against the Desert Ridge Jaguars, falling 6-2. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona soccer rankings (they are ranked 125th, while the Jaguars are ranked 49th).

Queen Creek has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8-1 record this season. As for Desert Ridge, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Queen Creek nor Desert Ridge have any future games scheduled.
