Meanwhile, Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of Hudson by a score of 9-8.

Alex Mammone was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Lancy, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Wooster's win bumped their record up to 18-5. As for Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 21-8.
