Recap: Great Plains Lutheran Panthers vs. Florence/Henry Falcons        
        
		
            
 The Great Plains Lutheran Panthers lost against the Florence/Henry Falcons back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Thursday. The  contest between  the two teams wasn't particularly close, with Great Plains Lutheran falling  59-41. They were down  46-25 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
 Several Panthers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Madeline Prahl, who  scored 15 points along with five  rebounds. That's the first time this season that  Prahl  scored 15 or more  points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Olivia Holmen, who  scored eight points along with five  rebounds.
 Great Plains Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Florence/Henry, their win was  their 15th straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 11-2.
 Great Plains Lutheran will take on Elkton/Lake Benton at 3:30  p.m.  on Saturday. As for Florence/Henry, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Wagner at 8:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Wagner presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Florence/Henry in South Dakota (Wagner is ranked third, while Florence/Henry is ranked 28th).
