The Discovery Canyon Thunder will head out on the road to challenge the Lewis-Palmer Rangers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

On Thursday, Discovery Canyon got the win against Air Academy by a conclusive 10-4. The Thunder haven't had any issues with the Kadets recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Ryan Egan looked comfortable as he tossed 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2024.

At the plate, Carson Seeley was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaxon Ross, who got on base in two of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run.

Meanwhile, Lewis-Palmer won against Cheyenne Mountain on Thursday with 16 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Rangers never let Skyline get on the board and left with a 16-0 victory. The win was nothing new for the Rangers as they're now sitting on three straight.

JW Babbitt looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Hunter Morgan and Daniel Fox did most of the damage at the plate: Morgan went 1-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs, while Fox went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs and three RBI. Ashton Brittian also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Lewis-Palmer always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .593. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive matchups.
