Recap: Redwood Rangers vs. Monache Marauders

The Redwood Rangers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 76-57 win over Monache. The victory was familiar territory for Redwood who now have 11 in a row.

It was another big night for Cole Gilcrest, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds. He hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for seven straight games. Another player making a difference was Zander Jensen, who scored 16 points.

Ty Baxter and Emmett Focke certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Baxter scored 26 points, while Focke scored 18 points along with eight rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Focke has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabriel Carbajal, who scored six points along with two steals.

Redwood is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 19-8 record this season. As for Monache, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 13-14.

Redwood will take on Golden West at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Redwood has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Monache, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Mt. Whitney at 7:15 p.m. One thing working in Monache's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five matchups.
