Volleyball Recap: Tough Loss for Georgetown

If Georgetown was feeling good off their 3-0 takedown of North Charleston last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs lost 3-0 to the Andrews Yellowjackets on Monday.

Once all was said and done, the final set scores wound up at 25-19, 25-19, 25-14.

Georgetown has traveled a rocky road for a while, having lost 21 of their last 23 contests, dating back to last year. That leaves them at a 2-15 record this season. As for Andrews, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 11-4.

Looking ahead, Georgetown will challenge Oceanside Collegiate Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Andrews, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Hannah-Pamplico on the 29th.
