George Washington had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.9 runs) and they went ahead and made it nine on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Man Hillbillies, sneaking past 5-3.

Chuck Kelley was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Kelley was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

In other pitching news, Connor Tiano looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in 11 consecutive appearances.

Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Eli Smith, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

George Washington hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Man struck out ten times.

George Washington's record now sits at 23-4. As for Man, their loss dropped their record down to 10-15.
