Soccer Game Preview: Fair Haven vs. Windsor

The Fair Haven Slaters are taking a road trip to square off against the Windsor Yellowjackets at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

If Fair Haven beats Windsor with six goals on Monday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. Everything went the Slaters' way against White River Valley on Saturday as they made off with a 6-1 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Fair Haven.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last match, Windsor made sure to put some goals up on the board against Springfield on Friday. They never let the Cosmos get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory. The win continues a trend for Windsor in their matchups with Springfield: they've now won nine in a row.

Fair Haven's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Windsor, their win bumped their record up to 13-0-1.

Fair Haven couldn't quite get it done against Windsor when the teams last played back in October of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Slaters avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
