Baseball Game Preview: Tuslaw Mustangs vs. Triway Titans

The Tuslaw Mustangs will challenge the Triway Titans at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Tuslaw 4, Triway 4.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Tuslaw couldn't beat Claymont on Friday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fifth inning. Tuslaw fell just short of Claymont by a score of 5-4. Tuslaw has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Triway waltzed into their match on Friday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. Everything went their way against the Huskies as they made off with a 15-5 win. The Titans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by six runs or more this season.

Triway's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Tuslaw, their loss dropped their record down to 14-8.
