Archbishop Riordan strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They were the clear victors by a 35-13 margin over the Bellarmine College Prep Bells. The Crusaders' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Michael Mitchell Jr. had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 202 yards and four TDs while completing 82.4% of his passes. What's more, he racked up 159.8 passer rating, the most he's had since back in October of 2024. Judge Nash was another key player, picking up 55 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Archbishop Riordan's defense and their three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Zachary Kleppin, Pita Tanielu, and Weston Rinker, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Archbishop Riordan's record now sits at 8-0. As for Bellarmine College Prep, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

That contest will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Adonyae Brown and Lazaro Faraj-Washington. Meanwhile, Bellarmine College Prep will challenge rival Junipero Serra at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
