The Northridge Raiders will venture away from home to square off against the Wawasee Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Northridge is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season.

Northridge is headed into Wednesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Monday. They took a 12-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of Concord.

Willow Staley was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Rielyn Goodwin, who went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Wawasee's offense. They lost 10-0 to NorthWood on Monday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Wawasee's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Northridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.

Northridge took their victory against Wawasee in their previous meeting two weeks ago by a conclusive 11-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Raiders since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
