Baseball Recap: Wolcott Comes Up Short

Wolcott was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 8-4 to the Naugatuck Greyhounds. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Greyhounds this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in April.

Wolcott's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Naugatuck, their win bumped their record up to 13-6.

Coming up, Wolcott is taking a road trip to take on Ansonia at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Naugatuck does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
