Shaktoolik hadn't done well against White Mountain recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Wolverines came out on top against the Wolves by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 on Friday.

Shaktoolik was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-9, 26-24, 18-25, 25-22.

Shaktoolik has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. As for White Mountain, their defeat ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-7.

Coincidentally, Shaktoolik and White Mountain will both be playing Koyuk Malimiut the next time they take the court. The Wolves will host the Malemutes at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Wolverines will play them later in the day, at 8:30 p.m.
