Soccer Recap: Georgetown Comes Up Short

Georgetown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 4-1 to the Aynor Blue Jackets. If Georgetown were looking for revenge after losing 6-1 to Aynor when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Georgetown's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Aynor, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-3.

Coincidentally, Georgetown and Aynor will both be playing Loris the next time they take the pitch. The Blue Jackets will host the Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Bulldogs will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
