Flag Football Recap: Wilcox's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak at Home

Wilcox never let their opponents score on Friday. They snuck past the Burlingame Panthers with a 6-0 win. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Chargers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 478th, while the Panthers are ranked 234th).

Wilcox's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-7-2. As for Burlingame, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Wilcox didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 19-7 defeat against Los Gatos on the 27th. As for Burlingame, they have also already played their next contest, a 13-6 loss against Monterey Trail on the 27th.
