It's playoff time, and St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy had no trouble coming through when it counted. They took down the Serrano Diamondbacks 38-19 on Friday. The Warriors' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Jassi Williams was his usual excellent self, throwing for 444 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.0 yards per attempt, and also punching in one touchdown. Those 444 passing yards gave him a new career-high. Kenny Peevy was in the mix as well, providing St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy with two touchdowns.

When it comes to explaining why Serrano lost, don't look at Trevor Mcsween. Despite the final result, he rushed for 182 yards while picking up 9.1 yards per carry. Mcsween was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 58 yards.

The victory (which was St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy's fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-9. As for Serrano, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-4.

St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 28-7 win against St. Augustine on the 7th. Serrano does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
