Soccer Recap: Woodland Hills Takes a Loss

If Woodland Hills was feeling good fresh off their 5-2 takedown of West Mifflin last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wolverines fell just short of the Pine-Richland Rams by a score of 4-3 on Tuesday. The matchup was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Woodland Hills couldn't quite close it out.

Woodland Hills now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Pine-Richland, the victory got them back to even at 1-1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Woodland Hills will challenge Penn Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pine-Richland, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge Hempfield Area at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
