Vintage wins going away against Petaluma

Recap: Vintage Crushers vs. Petaluma Trojans

The Vintage Crushers entered their tilt with the Petaluma Trojans with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Vintage blew past Petaluma 42-21. Vintage might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won three matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Jeffery Page continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 145 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries. Page's longest rush was for an incredible 76 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Howell, who rushed for 90 yards and a touchdown.

Petaluma's lost on Friday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Chase Miller, who rushed for 112 yards on only 15 carries.

Vintage has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 5-5 record this season. As for Petaluma, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vintage will take on Windsor at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Windsor knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past six contests -- so hopefully Vintage likes a good challenge. As for Petaluma, they will head out on the road to face off against Maria Carrillo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
