Baseball Recap: Taft Takes a Loss

Taft was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Warren Warriors. The Raiders were not able to make up for their loss to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Taft saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was CHRIS ARRIAGA, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Taft's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Warren, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season.

While Taft had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
