Basketball Recap: Bogue Chitto Finds Home Court Redemption Against Amite County

There's no place like home for Bogue Chitto, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They walked away with a 46-33 victory over the Amite County Trojans on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 40-26 on January 10th.

Bogue Chitto has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.8 points per game. As for Amite County, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-18.

Bogue Chitto has already played their next game (against Loyd Star), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Amite County will look to defend their home court on Friday against West Lincoln at 6:00 p.m.
