Volleyball Recap: Rockridge Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Rockridge lost against Orion back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rockets took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chargers.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-18.

Rockridge's offense was headlined by Hayden Ruggles and Avery Wynn, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Leah DeCook and her eight assists. Shawn Kenney controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Orion got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Khloe Nelson out in front who had 15 assists and five digs.

Rockridge dropped their record down to 3-9 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Orion, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

Rockridge has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Abingdon/Avon on the 18th. As for Orion, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Geneseo on the 17th.
