Soccer Recap: Red Springs Takes a Loss

Red Springs and Seaforth squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Red Springs had to settle for second. They came up short against the Hawks, falling 9-0. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, Red Springs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Red Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Seaforth, the victory was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-2-1.

Red Springs does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Seaforth, they will face off against NCSSM: Durham at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Seaforth have won nine straight at home, while NCSSM: Durham won four straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
