Jayce Emmert made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Julian Porcaro, who earned two runs and two stolen bases.

Schroon Lake has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Bolton Central, they now have a winning record of 7-6-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Eagles beat Schroon Lake by a score of 5-3 on Thursday.
