Softball Game Preview: Waukegan Bulldogs vs. Kennedy Crusaders

Waukegan is on a seven-game streak of home losses, and Kennedy a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Saturday. The Waukegan Bulldogs will look to defend their home field against the Kennedy Crusaders at 10:00 a.m. Waukegan has given up an average of 18.6 runs per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Waukegan fell victim to Stevenson and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 16-0 to the Patriots. That's two games in a row now that the Bulldogs have lost by exactly 16 runs.

Meanwhile, Kennedy came up short against Hancock on Friday and fell 7-3.

Angelina Gregory made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases and one RBI. Jessica Monarrez was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.

Waukegan's loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Kennedy, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-8-1.
