Baseball Recap: Kimberly Takes a Loss

Kimberly lost against Mountain Home back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Kimberly Bulldogs took a 21-17 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mountain Home Tigers. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jeremiah Bybee made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored four runs and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in stolen bases. MaCraye Bruning was another key player, scoring four runs and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

Kimberly's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Mountain Home, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-3.

Coming up, Kimberly is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will take on Minico at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Mountain Home, they will host Rimrock at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Mountain Home is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11 runs per game this season.
