Softball Recap: Niagara Comes Up Short

If Niagara was feeling good fresh off their 7-1 takedown of Wausaukee on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Badgers fell just short of the Crivitz Wolverines by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The Badgers have struggled against the Wolverines recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Niagara's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Crivitz, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-7.

Looking ahead, Niagara will venture away from home to square off against Coleman at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Crivitz, they will welcome Sturgeon Bay at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Clippers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.63 runs per game on average), something the Wolverines will no doubt try to take advantage of.
