Softball Recap: Weston-Mcewen/Griswold Starts Season with Victory Against Mcloughlin

Weston-McEwen/Griswold gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over the McLoughlin Pioneers. The Tiger Scots haven't had any issues with the Pioneers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

McLoughlin's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Weston-McEwen/Griswold will take on Oakland in a tournament on Monday. As for McLoughlin, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Elgin/Imbler at 2:00 p.m. on April 4.
