Pinon skates past Greyhills Academy with ease

The Pinon Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 54-8 win over Greyhills Academy on the road. That 54-8 margin sets a new team best for Pinon this season.
Pinon's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Shanna Begaye, who scored 13 points along with nine steals. Those nine steals set a new season-high mark for Begaye. Another player making a difference was Kylie Bia, who scored 13 points along with seven steals.
The win makes it two in a row for Pinon and bumps their season record up to 2-3. As for Greyhills Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Pinon will be home for the holidays to greet Round Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Greyhills Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against St. Johns at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
